About

My name is Camille

My journey into Personal Training began in a very dark place. I spent over 8 years trying to fight my body and what it was doing. Then one day I surrendered to this simple but key principle: instead of fighting my body, I must listen to it. The more I listened, the more I realized that my body was giving me some very clear information about what it needed.  One of the key points was that I couldn’t hope to feel better if I didn’t get stronger. It’s always been clear to me that I couldn’t ignore or wish away a medical condition.  But, what I started realizing was that I could minimize the impact of my conditions and even avoid some of the symptoms, if I got my body to a stronger point where it could move more functionally.

The medical field is something we need, it serves so many purposes in our world, and it provides us with a lot of essential information.  But, what do you do to go from point A acquiring medical advice and point B developing healthier habits.  I’ve been down this path several times in my life and it’s what stimulated my eagerness to become a personal trainer. A personal trainer can help bridge that gap from Point A to B

By 32 years old I had already had several heart surgeries, a pacemaker implanted, was struggling with full body hypermobility and the gamut of issues that comes from that, chronic pain and chronic fatigue. I had lost hope that I could ever feel good again, and feared what my future looked like. I felt like I was being told all the things I couldn’t do, but no one was helping me work towards improving on the things I could do, or should be able to do. So one day I decided my life was worth any amount it took to get fit. I hired a personal trainer and never looked back.

My passion for personal training comes from my life experiences. Getting fit opened up a whole new chapter in my life, and set me on a path to actually achieving the life I wanted to live. As I develop a program for a client I assess the individual, assess the barriers, discuss the goals and set in motion a plan to set them on the path to healthier living.

If you’re looking for someone to help you; move better, get stronger, minimize pain, get fit, and gain balanced muscle mass then I’m the trainer for you.
